Eduardo Luiz Saverin was born in São Paulo, Brazil, on March 19, 1982, to a wealthy Jewish family. His father was a businessman, and his mother was a psychologist. Saverin co-founded Facebook with Mark Zuckerberg, Dustin Moskovitz, Chris Hughes, and Andrew McCollum in 2004.
