Early Life
Zhao Lixin was born in Zhengzhou, Henan, China. His father worked in a bookstore which exposed him to a large amount of books. At the age of 18, he was admitted to the Central Academy of Drama. Zhao Lixin received further education at the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography in Moscow.
Rise to Success
After graduating from the Central Academy of Drama, Zhao applied to the Directing Department of the Moscow Film Academy, graduating in 1995 with a master's degree. He became the first Chinese actor to appear on stage since the establishment of the Royal Swedish Theater.
Zhao Lixin is the CEO of GalaxyCore, a semiconductor supplier. GalaxyCore went public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2021.
