Early Life
Zhang Changhong was born in March 1958, in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. He earned a master's degree in philosophy from Northwestern Polytechnical University (NWPU) in Xi'an. Before entering the financial sector, Zhang worked as a teacher at Nanjing Aeronautical School, a predecessor institution of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Rise to Success
Zhang's career in the securities industry began in the 1990s. He held positions such as general manager of the Shanghai Pudong branch of Beijing Wanguo Enterprise Service Co. and chairman and general manager of Shanghai Wanguo Stock Appraisal & Consulting, a securities-consulting firm. In December 2000, Zhang founded Shanghai DZH Investment Consulting Co. Ltd., later known as Shanghai Great Wisdom Network Technology Co. Ltd. (now Shanghai DZH), with Zhang as the legal representative and principal shareholder. The company focused on providing stock-market quotation and analysis software for retail investors. DZH obtained regulatory approval to list on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2011.
