Early Life
Weili Dai was born in Shanghai, China, and moved to the United States at the age of 17. She attended Abraham Lincoln High School in San Francisco before studying computer science at the University of California, Berkeley. At Berkeley, she met her future husband, Sehat Sutardja.

In 1995, Weili Dai co-founded Marvell Technology Group with her husband and his brother. She held several key positions at Marvell, including Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President, and General Manager of the Communications Business Group. Under her leadership, Marvell became a major player in the semiconductor industry. The company's technology has been used in various products across different markets. During her time at Marvell, Dai worked on strategic partnerships.
