Shuo Wang's journey began in Shenyang, China. At the age of 16, she moved with her mother to Baltimore, Maryland, to join her grandparents. To support her family, she gained early sales experience by selling scooters at flea markets.

Wang pursued her education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Robotics. After graduating, she co-founded Aeris Cleantec, an air purifier company. iRobot acquired Aeris in 2021 for around $100 million.
