Early Life and Military Service
Roy Reznik's journey began with his service in the Israeli Defense Forces. He served in the military from 2007 to 2011. During his time there, he gained experience as a software engineer and later as a software team lead, laying the groundwork for his future career in technology.
Adallom and Microsoft
After his military service, Reznik co-founded Adallom with his future Wiz partners. The company focused on providing cloud access security broker solutions. Adallom was later acquired by Microsoft in 2015 for $320 million. Following the acquisition, Reznik became a Principal R&D Group Manager at Microsoft. This experience provided him with valuable insights into building and scaling security solutions within a large corporate environment.
Wiz: The Cloud Security Revolution
In January 2020, Reznik, along with Assaf Rappaport, Yinon Costica, and Ami Luttwak, founded Wiz. The company, headquartered in New York City, developed a platform that analyzes computing infrastructure hosted in AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and Kubernetes, seeking to identify potential security risks. Wiz's platform offers a proactive approach, which has led to rapid growth. In February 2024, the company reached $350M in ARR, with a 45% market share of Fortune 100 companies. Wiz's success culminated in its acquisition by Google's parent company, Alphabet Inc., in March 2025 for $32 billion.

Reznik's entrepreneurial ventures have garnered significant recognition. He was included in Forbes Israel's "30 Under 30" list in 2016 and won first place in the 2011 Google Code Jam Israel.
