She completed her primary education at the National Higher Secondary School in Chennai and then pursued a degree in industrial management from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), graduating in 1997. In 1996, Radha Vembu co-founded Zoho Corporation, initially known as AdventNet, with her brother Sridhar Vembu and Tony Thomas.
