Otto Toto Sugiri was born on September 23, 1953, in Bandung, Indonesia. He pursued higher education in Germany, earning a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in 1980 and a Master's in Computer Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
Rise to Success
Sugiri's career began in 1983 at Bank Bali, where he served as General Manager of IT. He then founded PT Sigma Cipta Caraka in 1989, a software company that later evolved into Telkomsigma. In 2011, Sugiri co-founded PT DCI Indonesia Tbk (DCII), a data center company that has become the largest in Indonesia, providing over half of the country's local capacity. DCI earned Tier IV certification, the highest global standard for data centers, in 2014.
