Early Life and Education
Lee Seo-hyun was born on September 20, 1973, as the second daughter of Lee Kun-hee, the late chairman of Samsung Electronics. Her grandfather was Lee Byung-chul, the founder of Samsung. She received her education from prestigious institutions, including Kyonggi Elementary School, Yewon School, Seoul Arts High School, and Parsons School of Design, where she graduated in 1997.
Rise to Success
Lee Seo-hyun began her career in 2002, joining Cheil Industries as the head of its fashion research department. She rose through the ranks, becoming vice president of Cheil Industries until 2013. Her leadership expanded with her appointment as president of Everland's fashion division at the end of 2013. From December 2015 to December 2018, she served as president of Samsung C&T's fashion division. In April 2024, she was appointed president of Samsung C&T, overseeing strategic planning.
