Giovanni Ferrero was born in Farigliano, Italy, on September 21, 1964, to Maria Franca Fissolo and Michele Ferrero, the owner of Ferrero SpA. He studied at the European Schools and later earned a degree in marketing from Lebanon Valley College in the United States.
Rise to Success
After completing his education, Ferrero joined the family business, Ferrero SpA. He became the joint CEO with his brother, Pietro, in 1997. Following Pietro's death in 2011, Giovanni became the sole leader of the company.
