Cameron Adams was born in Australia in 1979. He studied at the University of Melbourne, earning a combined Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws. After graduating, Adams started as a freelance designer, developing interactive web experiences. In 2007, he joined Google and worked on Google Wave. He later launched Fluent.io, which aimed to reinvent email. In 2012, he was approached by Melanie Perkins and Cliff Obrecht and became a co-founder of Canva, where he led product development from the ground up. Canva launched publicly in 2013 and quickly gained millions of users. By 2021, the company was valued at $40 billion.
