In 1993, Pan co-founded AAC Technologies Holdings Inc. with his wife, Ingrid Wu. The company is a global leader in the miniaturized electroacoustic components sector. AAC supplies components such as micro-speakers, receivers, and microphones to major smartphone manufacturers. The company went public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2005. In 1996, he co-founded American Audio Component Inc. in the United States.
