Early Life
Arthur Dantchik was born in 1957 in New York and grew up in Queens. He attended Bayside High School, where he befriended Jeff Yass, with whom he later co-founded Susquehanna International Group (SIG). Dantchik earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Binghamton and pursued graduate studies in Psychology at Arizona State University. He also worked as a professional poker player.
Rise to Success
In 1987, Dantchik co-founded SIG with Jeff Yass and four others. SIG became a major player in quantitative trading, focusing on options trading and other financial instruments. Dantchik serves as Managing Director, overseeing global private equity, venture capital, and international activities. A key achievement was SIG's early investment in ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok.
