Andrey Andreev, born Andrey Vagnerovich Ogadzhanyants on February 3, 1974, in Moscow, Russia, demonstrated an entrepreneurial spirit from a young age. He showed an early interest in communication technology and built a homemade radio as a preteen. In 1992, he moved to Valencia, Spain, and started several ventures.
Rise to Success
Andreev's career took off with the founding of Badoo in 2006. The platform quickly gained popularity, becoming one of the world's largest dating apps. He also founded other companies and apps, including Mamba and, in 2014, he played a key role in launching Bumble with Whitney Wolfe Herd. In 2019, Andreev sold his majority stake in MagicLab to Blackstone Inc., the parent company of both Badoo and Bumble, for a $3 billion valuation. In 2020, Andreev launched Stereo, a social audio app.
