Aleš Zavoral was born on October 24, 1976. He graduated from the gymnasium in Dobruška. Zavoral's entrepreneurial journey began early; he started selling computer components to his classmates in the 1990s.

In 1994, Zavoral obtained a trade license. In 1998, he founded a small electronics store in Prague called Alzasoft. He launched the e-shop Alza.cz in 2000, which quickly expanded, becoming the largest e-commerce player in the Czech Republic. Zavoral rebranded the company in 2006, creating a strong brand identity with the green alien mascot.
