In 1993, Wu Yajun, along with her then-husband Cai Kui, founded Chongqing Zhongjianke Real Estate Co Ltd, later renamed Longfor Properties. The company focused on developing high-quality residential projects and expanded rapidly. Longfor Properties went public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2009. Wu served as the CEO and chairwoman of the company, playing a key role in its growth and success.
