Early Life
Wang Yusuo was born in 1964 in Bazhou, Hebei province, China. He holds a bachelor's degree from the People's University of China and a doctorate from Tianjin University. Early in his career, he faced challenges, including failing the university entrance exam multiple times. Before establishing his successful career, Wang had a small business selling seeds and beer.
Rise to Success
Wang Yusuo's journey into the energy sector began in 1986. He established contacts within the gas distribution profession, which was undergoing deregulation at the time. In 1989, he and his wife, Zhao Baoju, co-founded the ENN Group. Their first venture was the Langfang Xiali Car Rental Company. Within a year, Wang transitioned the group into the energy distribution sector, founding the Langfang Gas Co. Limited. Wang established ENN Group CO. Limited in 1997 after corporate restructuring. He is the founder and chairman of ENN Group, a major natural gas distribution company.

ENN Group has expanded beyond natural gas to include solar energy, energy chemicals, and real estate. The primary business of ENN Group involves the investment in, and the construction, operation, and management of gas pipeline infrastructure.
