Tibor Veres was born in Hungary and graduated from the University of Moscow in 1986 with a degree in economics. He returned to Hungary and co-founded the Wallis Group with his father and another co-founder.

Veres founded Wallis Group in 1987. The group operates in real estate development, automotive, retail, logistics, and manufacturing. He also controls AutoWallis, a leading automotive and mobility service provider with 23 brands operating across Central and Eastern Europe. Veres has grown his business to operate in 18 countries.
