Sylvan Adams was born on November 1, 1958, in Quebec City, Canada, to Marcel and Annie Adams, Holocaust survivors. He earned a degree in physiology from the University of Toronto, followed by a graduate degree in business.
Rise to Success
Adams served for nearly 25 years as president and CEO of Iberville Developments, a major real estate firm. In 1997, he bought out family member stakes in the company. Under his leadership, the company grew to manage nearly 8 million square feet of real estate.
