Sybill joined the family business in 1962. After the death of her father in 1996, Sybill Storz took over the management of the company. Under her leadership, Karl Storz SE & Co. KG registered over 100 new patents and achieved impressive annual sales growth rates of 15 to 20 percent. Sybill oversaw the company's transformation into a global leader in endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery. In 2019, she handed the leadership reins to her son, Karl-Christian Storz, and became chairwoman of the Supervisory Board.
