Sven Hagströmer was born on November 30, 1943, in Solna, Sweden. He hails from the noble Hagströmer family. He studied economics at Stockholm University, laying the foundation for his career in finance.
Rise to Success
Hagströmer's career began with portfolio management roles at Gränges AB (1969-1973) and Investor (1973-1980). In 1981, he founded Sven Hagströmer Fondkommission AB, which later became HQ Bank. Following the division of HQ Bank in 2012, Hagströmer became the principal owner of the investment company Creades. He is also the founder of Avanza Bank.
