Susumu Fujita was born on May 16, 1973, in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, Japan. He graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University with a degree in Business Administration. Early in his career, Fujita displayed an entrepreneurial spirit, eventually leading him to found CyberAgent.

Fujita founded CyberAgent in March 1998. The company started as an online advertising agency.
