Early Life
Stéphane Courbit was born on April 28, 1965, in Crest, Drôme, France. He grew up in the village of Puy-Saint-Martin. He graduated from the ISG Business School of Paris and the University Institutes of Technology of Valence.
Rise to Success
Courbit's career began in the television industry. In 1990, he worked as an assistant at Coyote, a production company. He then collaborated with Arthur, a TV presenter, to create CASE Productions, which later became ASP (Arthur Stéphane Productions). Endemol purchased ASP in two sessions, and Courbit became the president of Endemol France. He sold his shares in 2006.
Key Business Strategies
After leaving Endemol, Courbit founded LOV Group, a holding company. LOV Group invested in audiovisual production, luxury hotels, and online betting. In 2008, he created Banijay Group. He has since expanded the company through strategic mergers and acquisitions. He has also been involved in energy and luxury hospitality ventures.
