Rise to Success
Soegiarto started his business journey with a small chemical trading business in Surabaya in the 1960s. In 1978, he incorporated PT Aneka Kimia Raya, which traded and distributed basic chemicals in Indonesia. He also built Sorini, a manufacturing plant for sorbitol in Indonesia, and Khalista in China, growing both plants to become one of the biggest producers in Asia.
