Early Life
Shari Arison was born in New York City on September 9, 1957. She is the daughter of Ted Arison, the founder of Carnival Cruise Lines, and Mina Arison Sapir. After her parents divorced in 1966, she moved to Israel with her mother. At the age of 12, she returned to the United States to live with her father. Later, she returned to Israel and joined the Israel Defense Forces.
Rise to Success
Shari Arison's career took off after her father's death in 1999, when she inherited 35% of his possessions. She became the owner of Arison Investments and The Ted Arison Family Foundation. Arison also served as the controlling shareholder of Bank Hapoalim for 21 years and was the former owner of Shikun & Binui for 22 years.

Arison is known for creating the 'Doing Good Model,' integrating social responsibility into her business ventures. She has invested in various real estate projects and gradually reduced her stake in Bank Hapoalim, selling the last of it in 2024.
Philanthropy
