Meckenzie's entrepreneurial journey began in 2001 when he co-founded 10bet UK, an online gambling company. In 2007, he founded SBTech, a company that provided sports betting technology. SBTech grew to become a major player in the industry, offering solutions for online gambling, government lotteries, and more. The merger of SBTech with DraftKings in 2020 was a pivotal moment, making Meckenzie the largest shareholder of the combined entity.
