Early Life
Sezai Bacaksiz was born in 1950. He graduated from Gazi University's Faculty of Engineering with a degree in mechanical engineering. After graduation, he began his career at the same university as an assistant, alongside his close friend Nihat Özdemir.
Rise to Success
In 1976, Bacaksiz co-founded Limak Construction with Nihat Özdemir. Over time, Limak evolved into Limak Holding, a major Turkish conglomerate with operations in construction, energy, tourism, cement, and food. Bacaksiz has been instrumental in the company's growth, particularly in the construction of large-scale infrastructure projects, including airports, highways, and hydroelectric power plants.

Bacaksiz's key business strategies have focused on diversification and strategic partnerships. Limak Holding expanded into various sectors, mitigating risks and creating multiple revenue streams.
