Sergei Anatolievich Kolesnikov was born on February 25, 1972, in Ulyanovsk, Russia. He earned a degree from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 1995.
Rise to Success
In 1992, Kolesnikov co-founded Technonicol with Igor Rybakov. Initially, the company focused on roof repairs but expanded to become a global producer of roofing, waterproofing, and thermal insulation materials. Technonicol's growth included acquiring stakes in various plants and expanding its operations to multiple countries. By 2018, Technonicol had 52 production sites. In 2024, the company bought a plastic waste recycling plant in Tver.
