Robert Joseph "Bob" Fisher was born on August 26, 1954, to Doris and Donald Fisher, the co-founders of Gap Inc. He grew up in a Jewish family and attended Phillips Exeter Academy. Fisher went on to receive a bachelor's degree from Princeton University and an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
