Early Life
Robert G. Clark was born and raised in Bridgeton, Missouri. At a young age, his interest in construction was sparked by a book on building gifted by his father. He attended Parkway Central High School and at age 19 became a partner in an equipment company.
Rise to Success
In 1984, without a college degree, Clark started his own construction company, Clayco. Under his leadership, Clayco has become a major player in the construction industry, developing nearly 200 million square feet of buildings. In 2020, Clayco generated a substantial $3.8 billion in revenue, a testament to Clark's exceptional business acumen. By 2023, revenue grew to $5.8 billion.
