Early Life and Education
Rajiv Jain was born and raised in India. He started trading stocks at a young age. He pursued accounting at Panjab University and finance at the University of Ajmer. He then relocated to the United States to obtain an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Miami.
Rise to Success
Jain's career began in 1994 at Vontobel Asset Management, where he served as a portfolio manager. During his tenure, he increased developing market funds from less than $400 million to approximately $50 billion. He became the CIO and head of equities at Vontobel. In 2016, he founded GQG Partners, where he serves as Chairman and CIO. Under his leadership, GQG's assets under management have grown significantly.

He emphasizes preserving capital and identifying undervalued opportunities. Philanthropy
Jain and his wife, Latika, established the Latika & Rajiv Jain Charitable Foundation. They have supported first-generation scholarships at Florida International University (FIU), providing crucial financial support to students. In 2021, they established the “Jain Matching Fund for India COVID Relief”.
