Rise to Success
Pankaj Doshi's career includes roles at renowned institutions such as MIT, GSK, and the National Chemical Laboratory, Pune. He is the Head of Predictive Science at Pfizer, where he has been instrumental in developing and applying advanced computational modeling and machine learning techniques to accelerate drug product development. However, his most significant achievement has been his involvement with Waaree Energies, India’s largest solar panel manufacturer by capacity. Key Business Strategies
Pankaj Doshi's success is primarily tied to his strategic investment in Waaree Energies. He holds a minority stake in the company, which has five solar module manufacturing plants in India. Waaree Energies' focus on solar panel manufacturing and its expansion within the renewable energy sector have been key to Doshi's wealth accumulation. The company's strong performance and listing on the stock exchange have significantly boosted his net worth.
Philanthropy
In October 2025, Hitesh Doshi announced that he and his three brothers, Pankaj, Kirit and Viren, would donate a 1% stake in the company, worth over $100 million at the current stock price, to their Waaree Foundation over the next 12 to 18 months. The Doshi brothers plan to support causes such as education, healthcare, and community development.
