Early Life and Education
Pan Dong was born in 1965. Before her marriage to Luo Qiuping, she obtained both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in organic chemistry from Wuhan University in 1987. She later pursued a Master of Business Administration from Michigan's Lawrence Technological University.
Career and Blue Moon Group
In 1994, Pan Dong co-founded Blue Moon Group Holdings Ltd. with her husband, Luo Qiuping, in Guangzhou. While Luo served as CEO, Pan initially worked as a technical assistant. She later received stakes in the company in recognition of her management skills and technical expertise. She was formally appointed as the company's Chief Technology Officer in 2003. Pan's role has been instrumental in the company's technological development and brand positioning.
Blue Moon's Success
Blue Moon's successful public listing on the stock market in December 2020 significantly increased Pan's wealth. Though the stock price has fluctuated, Pan remains a billionaire. Blue Moon has been compared to prominent US brands like Procter & Gamble and Unilever.
