Early Life
Nadir Burjorji Godrej was born in Mumbai, India, in 1951. He comes from a Parsi family with a long history in Mumbai. His uncle founded the Godrej Group of industries. Nadir studied at IIT Bombay, MIT (B.S. in Chemical Engineering), Stanford University (M.S. in Engineering), and Harvard Business School (MBA).
Rise to Success
Nadir Godrej joined the family business more than four decades ago and is currently the managing director of Godrej Industries, one of India's largest businesses. He is also the chairman of Godrej Agrovet. In February 2024, he was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Pesticides Manufacturers & Formulators Association of India (PMFAI).
