Early Life
Massimo Moratti was born on May 16, 1945, in Bosco Chiesanuova, near Verona, Italy. He is the fourth son of industrialist Angelo Moratti. His father was the chairman of the Football Club Internazionale Milano during its "Golden Age". Moratti obtained a master's degree in political science from Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli.
Rise to Success
Massimo Moratti's career is largely defined by his leadership of the Saras Group, an oil refining and distribution company founded by his father, Angelo Moratti, in 1962. Massimo Moratti inherited shares in the Saras Group. He is currently the CEO of the company. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a major player in the energy industry. He is also the owner of Sarlux, headquartered in Cagliari, which focuses on the production of electricity from waste oil.
