Marc David Günther Fielmann, born on July 24, 1989, in Hamburg, Germany, is the eldest child of Günther Fielmann, the founder of Fielmann AG, and Heike Fielmann. He attended Schule Schloss Salem and later studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Rise to Success
Before joining the family business in 2012, Marc Fielmann gained experience in the eyewear industry, working for Luxottica and Safilo Group. He began as a board member responsible for marketing in 2016, and subsequently took on responsibilities for corporate strategy. In 2019, at the age of 29, he became the sole CEO of Fielmann AG, succeeding his father, Günther Fielmann. This made him one of the youngest CEOs of a major listed company in Germany at the time.
