Rise to Success
Cremonini began his entrepreneurial journey in 1963 by opening a small butcher shop with his brother Giuseppe. This humble start marked the beginning of the Cremonini Group. Under Cremonini's leadership, the company expanded, achieving an annual turnover of $3.6 billion in meat products. Cremonini founded Marr, Italy's largest food-service distributor, further solidifying his prominence in the food sector.
Key Business Strategies
Cremonini's strategies included diversification into cured meats and catering, and entering the distribution of food products. The Group's model is based on the pillars of production, distribution, and catering. Cremonini also focused on international expansion. His company operates in 70 countries, bringing Italian food excellence to the world. In 1996, Cremonini sold the Burghy chain to McDonald's.
