Lőrinc Mészáros was born on February 24, 1966, in Székesfehérvár, Hungary. He spent his childhood in Felcsút, a rural village where he grew up alongside Viktor Orbán, who later became Hungary's prime minister. Mészáros started his career as a gas-fitter in the early 1990s.
