Early Life
Kwee Liong Keng was born in 1945 in Jakarta, Indonesia. His father, Henry Kwee Hian Liong, a Chinese-Indonesian textile trader and real estate developer, moved to Singapore in 1958. Kwee is the eldest of four brothers who would later become the driving force behind Pontiac Land Group.

Kwee, along with his brothers, took over the family business, Pontiac Land Group, founded by their father. Under their leadership, Pontiac Land Group became a leading luxury real estate developer and hotel owner in Singapore. The company's portfolio includes iconic properties such as the Regent Singapore, Ritz-Carlton Millenia, and the Capella Hotel Group. They expanded globally, with investments in New York City and the Maldives.
