His grandfather, Martin Sixt, founded the car rental company in 1912. Konstantin pursued higher education in Geneva, Paris, and London, earning an MSc in International Accounting and Finance from City University (CASS Business School).

Konstantin Sixt joined the family business, Sixt SE, in February 2005. Initially, he was responsible for the company's entire online business. By 2013, he had advanced to Head of German Sales at SIXT Autovermietung.
