Konstantin Goncharov was born on October 1, 1971, in Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk Region. He graduated from the Magnitogorsk Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
Rise to Success
From 2003 to 2015, Goncharov held top managerial positions in various business entities. In 2015, he became a shareholder and President of Novotrans Group of Companies. He acquired Novotrans, a railway, port, and shipping business, in 2015, building it into a significant enterprise with a fleet of 25,000 railway cars and multiple wagon repair plants. Prior to purchasing Novotrans, Goncharov ran several logistics companies in the 2000s. Novotrans is constructing the Lugaport marine terminal in the Baltic Sea.
