Early Life
Klaus-Peter Schulenberg was born in Bremen, Germany, on July 14, 1951. During his school years, he played guitar and organ in a band, organizing their performances. In 1972, he organized a concert for Bernd Clüver, whom he also managed. Schulenberg studied economics at the University of Bremen.
Rise to Success
Schulenberg's entrepreneurial journey began while he was still a student, founding an artist management and event agency. He organized concerts for major acts like Alice Cooper and The Rolling Stones. In 1996, he acquired the ticketing company CTS, laying the foundation for CTS Eventim. The company went public in 2000, a key step in its expansion. Under Schulenberg’s leadership, CTS Eventim expanded through acquisitions of regional concert promoters, ticketing agencies, venue operators, and event producers.
