Early Life
Kenneth Bryan Dart was born in 1955 in Mason, Michigan. He is the middle of three sons. His grandfather, William F. Dart, founded the Dart Manufacturing Company in 1937. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in mechanical engineering in 1976.
Rise to Success
Dart joined the Dart Container Corporation, the family business, and became president in 1986. The company is a major player in the disposable packaging industry. He later transitioned to the board of directors in 2001.
