Early Life
K.C. Liu, also known as Liu Ko-chen, was born in Taiwan. He graduated from National Chiao Tung University with a Bachelor of Engineering degree. Before founding Advantech, Liu worked as an R&D engineer and then as a sales engineer for HP Taiwan in the Instrument Department.
Rise to Success
In 1983, at the age of 29, Liu co-founded Advantech with two colleagues from HP Taiwan. Advantech has since become the world's largest industrial PC maker. Under his leadership, Advantech has established subsidiaries in 21 countries and employs nearly 9,000 people worldwide.

K.C. Liu introduced the "Good-to-Great Three Circles" concept, and with the vision of "Enabling an Intelligent Planet," he emphasizes altruism, ethical business practices, and excellence, leading Advantech to become an outstanding industry leader. Advantech's focus on AIoT and Edge Computing aims to accelerate the global implementation of AIoT solutions.
Philanthropy
