Early Life
Karim Atiyeh was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. He graduated from Collège Notre-Dame de Jamhour in Beirut with a French Baccalaureate in Mathematics in 2003.
Rise to Success
Atiyeh moved to the United States to continue his studies. He earned a bachelor's degree in electrical and computer engineering from Harvard University in 2007 and a master's degree in computer science in 2010. In 2011, he began his career at Oliver Wyman before transitioning into the tech sector.
In 2014, Atiyeh co-founded Paribus, a price-tracking app that was later acquired by Capital One in 2016. After the sale, Atiyeh and his co-founder remained with Capital One for two and a half years.
