Junro Ito was born in 1958. He is the son of Masatoshi Ito, the founder of Ito-Yokado and the driving force behind the global expansion of 7-Eleven convenience stores. Junro earned his MBA from the Drucker School in 1989.
Rise to Success
Ito joined Seven & i Holdings in May 2009 and has been a key figure in the company's evolution. He held the positions of Director, Executive Officer, Senior Officer of Business Development, and General Manager of the Management Promotion Office. Ito was also Director of Ito-Yokado Co.
