Jonathan Kwok is the younger son of Walter Kwok, former chairman of Sun Hung Kai Properties, one of Hong Kong's largest developers. His grandfather, Kwok Tak-seng, co-founded Sun Hung Kai Properties in 1963.
Rise to Success
Following his father's death in 2018, Jonathan and his brother, Geoffrey, inherited Walter Kwok's stake in SHKP and took over Empire Group Holdings, a property developer his father started after leaving SHKP. He has an impressive resume, graduating from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration. Jonathan is a director at Empire Group Holdings, overseeing real estate investments, project development, and asset management.
