Early Life
Jared Corey Kushner was born on January 10, 1981, in Livingston, New Jersey. He is the son of real estate developer Charles Kushner. Kushner attended the Frisch School, a Modern Orthodox yeshiva high school. He graduated from Harvard University with a degree in government in 2003. Kushner then pursued a dual degree program (JD/MBA) at New York University, graduating in 2007.
Rise to Success
After his father's conviction in 2005, Kushner took a leading role in the family's real estate business, Kushner Companies. He expanded the company significantly, acquiring nearly $7 billion in property over ten years, particularly in New York City. He purchased the New York Observer in 2006. In 2008, he became CEO of Kushner Companies. In 2017, he was appointed Senior Advisor to President Donald Trump and served until 2021. After leaving the White House, he founded Affinity Partners, a private equity firm.
