Igor Vyacheslavovich Khudokormov was born in Penza, Russia, in 1968. He graduated from the Leningrad Military Railway School. His early interest in engineering and logistics laid the groundwork for his future career.
Rise to Success
Khudokormov began his entrepreneurial journey in 1992, founding the Prodimex company. Initially, Prodimex focused on distributing sugar, working with international traders. Recognizing the potential, Khudokormov expanded into sugar production and agricultural land ownership. From 1998 to 2005, the company acquired or built 23 sugar plants and expanded its land bank. Prodimex became the largest sugar producer in Russia.
