Ho Hung Anh was born in Hanoi, Vietnam, in 1970. He pursued higher education in Russia, where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Kiev Polytechnic Institute.
Rise to Success
Ho Hung Anh started his career by trading goods between Eastern Europe and Vietnam in the 1990s, which laid the foundation for the establishment of Masan Group. He, along with his business partner Nguyen Dang Quang, began investing in Techcombank in 1995 and took full control in 2006. Under his leadership, Techcombank has become one of Vietnam's leading financial institutions.
